Classes

Stoney Creek Collections will be presenting three days of classes for crafters during the Stitching Jubilee. Classes are ordered by date and then by time. Registration begins Tuesday, June 3, 2008. Be sure to register early for your selected classes as class size is limited.

Skill Levels:

Beginner:
You can thread a needle and have a basic level of understanding of at least one type of needlework. Beginner needle-workers should be able to attend any beginner class.

Intermediate:
You can read pattern charts that call for many colors and a variety of stitches and accessories with a basic level of understanding of at least two types of needlework. Intermediate needle-workers should be able to attend any beginner or intermediate class.

Advanced:
You can stitch on most fabrics of varying stitch counts and colors and enjoy learning complex techniques with a basic level of understanding of at least two types of needlework. Advanced needle-workers should be able to attend any beginner, intermediate or advanced class.

All:
Classes with a skill level of ALL are designed for any stitcher to enjoy. Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced stitchers will be able to share the class in a format conducive to all knowledge levels.

Please note that each skill level assumes a certain level of understanding of needlework in order to perform the class kit.  Skill level does not preclude you from registering for a class, but it should be taken as a recommendation from the teachers themselves.
