What if I need to cancel or miss a class or event after sending in my registration form?
If you need to cancel, mail your original Class Confirmation Letter with a letter specifying which classes you want to cancel. Keep a copy for your records. If you contact Stoney Creek Collection, Inc. at least 30 days before the opening of the Stitching Jubilee, we will issue a class voucher for the cost of the class(es) less a $25 cancellation fee per class. Vouchers will be sent within 30 days of the close of the Stitching Jubilee and may be used to pay for classes events for up to three years. If you need to cancel within 30 days of the Stitching Jubilee or miss a class, we will send your class kit(s) within 8 weeks after the Stitching Jubilee.
What happens if a class is cancelled?
It is Stoney Creek's policy not to cancel classes. If, however, we need to cancel, we will issue a full refund for the cancelled class by check.
Are there restrictions in the classroom?
No food, drink, smoking or unregistered persons including children of any age. As a courtesy to other students and teachers, please refrain from using perfume or cologne, since many stitchers have allergies. Cell phones should be turned off in the classroom. Please go to the hall if you need to use your phone. Comfort is the key, but keep in mind that classrooms are generally cool, so dress in layers.
What should I do first when I arrive at the Stitching Jubilee?
The Class Information Desk and classes are generally located in the Convention Center or Hotel. You will find the hours for this desk on the back of your confirmation form. You only need to check in with this desk if you wish to add a class or event. Before attending class, be sure you have your class confirmation form. This form serves as your "ticket" to class. Please show your form to the attendant once you arrive in class; he or she will mark you as present when you arrive. If you have misplaced your confirmation form, stop by the desk for a new copy. |
