Lynda Keske

Lynda has been stitching for 30 years, but she says it doesn't feel like it! Her first love was Petit Point and, when she had trouble finding patterns the right size, she began to design her own. Lynda began her design career in jewelry using findings from Rayberts. When the company closed in 2003, Lynda turned to her friends for some inspiration. Thanks to the support of friends and family, Lynda has continued designing beautiful pieces to entice the eye. With her first published patterns in 2004, Lynda has begun a wonderful design business which she loves to share with students at every opportunity.

Sym-Stitching is a form of Symmography, a form of geometric string art, on fabric that is unique to Keslyns. All of the stitches taught in this class are created by Keslyns and are not taught elsewhere. The fabric and floss included in the kit are hand-dyed and a mixture of blue, lavender, purple, rust, yellow and green. The beads are a pale silver-lined blue. The overall scheme is green and would blend with any decor. Stitches taught in the class include fly stitch, Small Rhodes heart, Crossed Roof crescent, Triple Bird crescent and many more. Students are asked to bring a magnifier if they require one and a stretcher bar. The pictured box is by Sudberry House and will be available separately for $25.00.
